Chelsea could raise up to £264million with 12 players tipped to leave the club, starting with Ben Chilwell.

The Blues have outspent the rest of their Premier League rivals, splashing £600million on recruits under Todd Boehly including Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for a British transfer record of £106.8million.

But after a their huge spends in the last two transfer windows, they now look set to see a serious decrease in their wage bill this summer.

According to The Athletic, Ben Chilwell could lead the mass clearout from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

It's understood Manchester City are showing 'genuine' interest in the England star, with Pep Guardiola in need of a left-back with Joao Cancelo on loan at Bayern Munich with an option to buy.

It's not the first time the Spaniard has been interested in the Blues ace either, with him also keeping tabs on him before his £50million move from Leicester City to Chelsea in 2020.

Homegrown talent Mason Mount is also expected to say goodbye to west London this summer with talks of a new contract grinding to a halt and him being linked with Manchester United and Newcastle.

Mateo Kovacic is also yet to renew his current deal and has reportedly offered his services to AC Milan. Meanwhile, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has fallen out of favour and will likely head for the exit.

Armando Broja, who is currently injured, might also be moved out - along with Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Conor Gallagher was linked with a move elsewhere in January and Hakim Ziyech just missed out on a loan move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Both are likely to push for moves away in the summer as they search for regular first-team football.

Kai Havertz has been Chelsea's front man but has only managed seven Premier League goals this season and it's likely the Blues will be searching for a more effective centre-forward.

Finally, Raheem Sterling has also struggled to impress since his arrival last summer. However his agent has said he wants to stay.
