I was finally able to get this copy of the original I lost in a previous book collection which my mother's late landlord prompted her into selling away years ago - it's truly like the original in every page & word! Thank you so much!! Laura A F

This is a very though provoking book. It can really open your eyes!

A consistently interesting compendium of human and paranormal anomalies that starts off with some astounding freak show attractions and then gets into a wide variety of unusual people, like idiot savants, psychics, reincarnations, automatic writing conduits, dowsers, possessed people, Edgar Cayce, and more. It's kind of a random assemblage, but that keeps it from getting repetitive. Definitely one of the better collections out there.

Frank Edwards' books are interesting & easy reads. I have some of them. The main flaw is the lack of an index and any material at all about sources. He claims to have investigated what he wrote about, but gives no hint as to where he got the stories and how he investigated them. So the best thing to do is to read his books with a salt shaker handy; you might need the whole shaker when reading one of his books.
