Hospital in Umuaka, Imo State Nigeria.

This is where she should have used. When Margaret Thatcher fell ill recently, she went to a NHS hospital despite the volumes of private posh hospitals in the UK that our African goon looters come to.

In this hospital in Umuaka, if their ailment does not kill them, infection from the bacteria filled environment would.

@Sagamite, no matter how rural some people are they can never be made urban. And when she said better life for rural women, she actually meant rural life for better women that was why you saw a lot of better women from the cities going into the rural areas to help promote rural life.

Well IBB apparently wasn't the guy she used to roll with initially. She was with Bongos, a Nigerian Musician from Benue, who sang the Cock crow at dawn sound track, but it seems IBB Dribbled her out of his bed. Can't remember the exact details meself cos i heard it a while back.

She died very early in life. 61 is not a ripe age but may she rest in peace. Her death serves as another lesson for us the living that no amount of wealth can make us live above death. IBB can now live like a bachelor and may be join nairaland just to keep himself busy unless he is ready to date again which I doubt. RIP maryam.

I am hoping against hope that just by pure luck her children, nieces, nephews etc that are still enjoying our money are reading this. So that when next they are spending that loot that has led to hundreds of thousands dying of basic, easily treatable disease and has led to millions finding life a daily struggle they would remember the hatred it has brought them. That is the least we can do if the authorities can not, or will not, get them to a court stand and retrieve public funds. Lets diminish how they enjoy it by scorn, not praise-singing and empathy.

It is because of bas.stards like this I am in the freaking cold, foreign country eating mash potato and peas. Instead of going to the should-have-been-prestigious OAU and then being an Exec Director in IB in the should-have-been-world leading Investment Banking am of UBA, coming home to pepper soup every night.  grin

But Let's be honest her death isn't that much of a pleasure, i can't wait (hopefully I'll live to see it) for IBB to develop a malignant brain tumor the size of golf ball. Then he'll be shi.ting and drooling on himself like the dog that he is.

I am a cook, no try am.

When person go work, the only food available is soulless English food or at best Indian/Chinese food that is not salted and without spices to cater for the pallet of all the varied allergies this Oyinbos get for life. It is like eating Chinese cement.

And when you decide to take food to work, even just rice and stew, there would be one ediot saying "Ewww, what is that smell?" Before they realise it is your food, then "What is that?".  grin grin grin

I just look say impe dem lucky say I no bring Iforkore packed with Shawa and Efo packed with Iru make dem know wetin dey really smell. Awon alakori.

Everyday I dream of Sagamu.

- At times one has to wonder whether westerners have a name for the allergy of not having an allergy . . . grin

- We Africans do not realise that we seriously need to be grateful that we hardly have any allergies . . . (except the ajebotas)

- Western food tire me i ves quick quick start to dey cook for myself . . .except when hunger wire me too much that there is no time to cook.

- The whole concept of going to restaurant is so that they can go and eat food that is cooked by those amongst them that know how to cook . . .even their cooked food sed get as it be . . .

- Africans keep simple and with quality . . . Egusi+ Edoor + Beef + Fish + Ponmo  then test it with Pounded Yam . . .  grin . . .

men i think i need to cook proper stew soon and stop drinking Gari . . .and stop eating concotion . . . grin

I feel you absolutely on this man. And to think of what drove one to this land and trace parts of its roots to the contrbution of leaders during the IBB years, its really hard to feel any empathy for IBB and his family.
